Easton Utilities, along with other municipal and co-operative utilities in Maryland, is participating in an appliance rebate program administered by the Maryland Energy Administration (MEA).

Customers who choose ENERGY STAR qualified refrigerators, clothes washers, electric heat pump water heaters, freezers, room air conditioners, air source heat pumps and central air conditioners you will enjoy energy savings and enhanced performance as well as save $50 to $500 with mail-in rebates.  Rebates will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while funding lasts.

Rebates on or after 4/22/2010:
$50 on super-efficient ENERGY STAR refrigerators
$100 on super-efficient ENERGY STAR clothes washers  
$300 on ENERGY STAR electric heat pump water heaters 

Rebates on or after 7/30/10:
$100 on ENERGY STAR Freezers
$25 on ENERGY STAR Room Air Conditioners (2 rebates per household)
$500 on ENERGY STAR Air Source Heat Pumps
$500 on ENERGY STAR Central Air Conditioners
