Job Opening - Software Engineer/Programmer
Easton Utilities is searching for a Software Engineer / Programmer to add to our current IT team. This person will assist in the design, development and documentation of business applications and middleware to support the day-to-day Utility and IT Professional Services businesses. This person will also assist in the implementation and configuration of third-party application software as well as provide support and training for users on new applications.
The successful candidate must have well developed analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Should possess a working knowledge of Microsoft .NET development tools, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services, Java scripting, Photoshop and Flash. A four-year degree in Computer Science or related field is required. MCAD certification desirable. Good technical writing and presentation skills are desirable. Full time, exempt position.
Job Opening - Cable Television Installer
Easton Utilities is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Cable Television Installer. Knowledge and experience with electrical wiring required. Must have good verbal communication skills and ability to work well with the public. Job involves climbing, lifting, bending, working in attics and crawlspaces and digging in all weather conditions. Full time, non-exempt position. Must have High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Maryland driver's license. On call duty involved.
