Understanding the Water Charges on Your Bill

Your water bill is made up of two different charges: the Water Customer Charge and the Water Base Rate Charge. Water bills are issued every quarter.

The Water Customer Charge includes the cost to read your meter, process monthly bills and provide customer services. These are fixed costs to serve each customer no matter how much water is consumed.

The Water Base Rate Charge is a set cost per 100 gallon rate which supports the construction, operation and maintenance of the water system.

Residential & Industrial / Commercial Business Rates

Water Customer Charge:	Water Base Rate Charge
$12 per quarter per meter or per single family dwelling unit served by a master meter installation	$.2000 per 100 gallons

Out-of-Town Rates
Applies only to existing connections in the area beyond the corporate limits of the Town of Easton.

Water Customer Charge:	Water Base Rate Charge
$24 per quarter per meter	$.4000 per 100 gallons

Temporary Service Rates
Temporary service will be rendered only where the Commission has the necessary facilities available to render the service applied for without detriment to the service of other customers.

Weekly Service Fee:	Water Base Rate Charge
